Another batch of Pink Slip Lemonade: Survey says laid-off workers focusing on the positive

After what seemed like an incredibly long wait, lemonade weather — my favorite — has finally arrived in the Northeast.  So I hope you will indulge me for a few final posts on last month’s featured Pink Slip Lemonade theme.  But first…

Many thanks to the guest bloggers who wrote about their post-pink slip career changes, including professional organizer Sue West of Space4U and Tammy Hildreth of Network for Work job search networking group.  An extra big shout out goes to Chef Patti Anastasia, who not only shared her story but also created several Pink Slip Lemonade recipes just for us!

In the future, watch the blog for plenty more career change stories.  In the meantime, if you’re the quantitative type and/or you’d just like a quick snapshot of how other laid-off workers are making the best of their situation, financially and in general, check out these survey results from CareerBuilder.
